Today is the day we pause to celebrate the life of one of the greatest leaders of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, Martin Luther King, Jr.

On Wednesday, August 28, 1963, he gave one of the most powerful and well-known speeches of the century during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. To understand the man and all he stood for, take a moment today to watch or read his speech, titled, “I Have a Dream…”
